Adding a discount code automatically via product page links

HOW DO I LINK TO PRODUCT PAGE AND APPLY DISCOUNT CODE

I've created a discount code that I'm promoting in our newsletter (Klaviyo). I want the recipients to be able to click the buttons to go directly to the products included in the discount to make their variable choice AND have the discount code applied automatically when they go to checkout.

I seem to have figured out how to do one or the other, but not both.

Help?
