Alternative page with proper canonical tag

I'm currently facing a challenge with implementing an alternative canonical tag for my Shopify store. Specifically, I can't locate the product Liquid files in my theme, and I need assistance with this. I've looked into the theme's code, but it seems to use JSON files rather than Liquid templates for product pages. I'd greatly appreciate it if someone could guide me on how to add the canonical tag or suggest an alternative approach for achieving this.
