Creating an customer portal modal (or sidebar/drawer) with Vue?

Hi, I want to make it so the entire customer portal pages (log in, register, account info, order info, etc) is displayed inside of a modal that will be displayed on top of the current page on the right side.

My question is, from what I've seen in how the default functionality of the customer portal works, is that it will redirect you to another page whenever to sign in, or select an option inside the portal.

Is there a way to use Vue so instead of redirecting you to a new page, it updates the modal with the info of the page it redirects you to?

I've seen this in Shopify using vue. For example I saw a store that listed other products inside of the product's information, and when you clicked on it, it would update the entire page in real time without navigating to the product.
