Hello!

I contact you because I would like to remove the "Ver tu pedido (check your order)" box from the "order confirmation notification", but I'm not sure how to do it. I would really appreciate if any of you could help me!

Thanks a lot!

Regards,

Hello, @bimbeta.

Thank you for posting this question!

I understand you're looking to remove the "View your order" button from the order confirmation email. Just to confirm, are you trying to remove the button completely? Or, did you simply want to change the wording on the button?

If you're looking to change the wording, then you can simply replace the text by editing the order confirmation template. However, if you'd like to remove the button completely, then you will need to remove an entire section of coding. While removing this button isn't something that I'd recommend doing as most customers would prefer being able to check their order's status, you can try removing the section of coding using the screenshot below. If you make a mistake, you can always revert the template back to default and try again.

This is what the order confirmation looks like with the button removed:

That being said, if you're not comfortable working with coding languages (eg. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid), then editing the order confirmation template is something that our Theme Support team can help you with. While we’re not able to provide account-specific support via the Shopify Community at this time, we’d be happy to continue assisting you through live chat, email, or callback. Please visit the Shopify Help Center and log in to your account to create a support request.

I'd love to hear more about your business! What kinds of products are you selling? Was there a particular reason you want to remove the "View your order" button from the order confirmations?

Hello Elias,

Thank you so much for your explanations 🙂 I will try to do it on my own. Hopefully I'll made it.

I want to remove the bottom because we don't have integrated the currier services on our site. So, when our clients press the botton and try to locate their orders, an error window came out.  I hope this makes sense.

Thanks a lot again!!!

Hello, @bimbeta.

Thanks so much for following up!

If you run into any issues with editing the notification templates, please don't hesitate to reach out to us through the Shopify Help Center as our Support team can also help you submit a customization request to our Theme Support.

That being said, do your clients prefer being able to track their orders? If so, then there are some third-party options for adding a tracking page to the Online store. For example, AfterShip Order Tracking & SMS allows you to add customized tracking links so you can provide the tracking for non-integrated carriers as well. If you need any help with this app, then the app developers are always available to assist you - simply reach out to them through the contact information found in the Support section of their app's page.

I'd love to hear more about your business! What kinds of products are you selling? Do you have a marketing plan for your store? Also, have you considered using something like Shopify Inbox to interact with customers live on your store?
