Are you looking to add the checkbox onto your cart page?
If you aren't comfortable with coding, the easiest way to add a checkbox to your cart page is by installing a third-party app. There are a few apps on our Shopify App Store here that can help you achieve this. I did a bit of search on my end and was able to find a couple that you might be interested in, feel free to take a look at them:
- Terms and Conditions Checkbox 1: this one is more commonly used to ensure that customers have read a store's terms and conditions page and agree to it. However it looks like the app allows you to customise what text appears next to the checkbox, so you can always just change this to 'Request additional gift box'.
- Terms and Conditions Checkbox 2: similar to the app above, the app allows you to change the text that appears next to the checkbox to reflect the specific message you'd like to show customers.
- Wrapin: this app is more specifically tailored towards gift boxes and wrapping. It gives you the ability to add a checkbox for customers on the cart page too, and it looks to support customised text as well for what you want to appear next to the checkbox.
Just a note that these apps are made by third-party developers outside of Shopify. So if you need more information about each respective app’s functionality, I recommend getting in touch with the app developers as they'd be best equipped to answer app specific questions.
