How can I create different templates for each size in the Dawn theme?

So I’m new to coding as of today, lol

But the reason I started looking into it is because there’s some things in my shop I would like to change. 

Firstly, I sell tie dye dog bandanas

With that, obviously there’s different sizes. 

Is it at all possible to make different templates for each size? That also includes the code to make a price range?

The easiest way to handle that would be to just have 1 product with multiple variants:

Ex. you could do a "Tie Dye Dog Banada" product, but then have variant options for different "colors" and/or "sizes". 

You can also create custom product page templates (which doesn't require any coding), if you want to have multiple products, but have the pages look differently - or have different blocks/sections on them.

I suppose the issue I have with using the variants is that it requires you to have stock for each variant.
I make pieces of fabric big enough for any size. So each listing is for a piece of fabric and then the customer picks what size it needs to be

I use an app currently, but would love to be able to get rid of the apps if possible

You can always turn inventory tracking off for each product/variant, if that makes more sense for what you're doing.

To be honest though, it sounds like using a Product Options app (https://apps.shopify.com/search?q=product%20options) would be better for what you're doing. Trying to custom-code a solution that replaces a Product Options app would be extremely difficult, and much more expensive than just paying the monthly fee for whichever app you go with.
