How can I fill the attributes array when using permalinks?

Hi,

  On the Additional script of the order status page, I use the attributes.lang to find the language the user want. It works fine if the user do an order starting in the index page and selecting his product.

  But If he does it using a permalink, then on the status page, the attributes array is empty.

  Is it possible to fill in this array in the case we use a permalinks, as if the user add the product manually to his cart ?
