How can I indicate non-sellable items on my new Dawn template website?

We are building a new website using the Dawn template. The previous online store I used was on Debut and we added the option on the product cards to change them between default and non sellable. The non sellable option made it so that there was no cart button on the product, and there was instead a message that basically said that the item was not available for online purchase and to contact the store. I cannot seem to find where I can add this to the product cards. We have some items that are too large to ship or need to be fitted so they cannot be sold online. Is there anyone that uses something like this for only specific products?

Hi @SonjaB1 ,

All you need to create custom metafield and assign some value like 1, for those item you don't want to sell online.

Now on main-product liquid you have to place if condition for metafield value for 1, if condition match you can place link 🔗 for contact us/call/ connect on WhatsApp and in else part your buy and add to cart buttons will come.

This is exactly what I am hoping to achieve too. I have set up the custom meta field but need more help with the code to create a product card with buy/cart option removed. Are there some examples of code or tutorials I can refer to?
