How can I reduce jQuery render blocking for better page speed?

Currently my jquery script tag is at the end of the head tag in theme.liquid. According to my research jquery increases total blocking time and decreases pagespeed performance. I saw some shopify stores have 0 render blocking. What should I do to get 0 render blocking just like them?
