How can we retrieve the financial status of COD orders?

Hi Shopify Team,

Currently for Shopify orders, we are calling get Orders  Request API to pull only orders with Financial Status Paid, meaning we're not able to pull COD orders. As we are also trying to fulfill COD orders from Shopify, we are not familiar with which Financial Status does COD order falls under. As COD orders are considered "unpaid", we are not planning to pull all orders which are unpaid which includes non-COD orders. 

Could you help us to understand how we could pull COD orders? Hope to hear from you as soon as possible.
