How To Make Dropdown Menu Smaller In Studio Theme?

Currently my drop down menu is full width and I would like it to be a smaller box directly below the menu item. I found a solution code for Dawn theme and tried it, but it when I add the code it makes the text vertical for some reason. I would very much appreciate if someone could help me, thanks!
