How to prevent gift card emails when creating historical orders via API?

Hi there, I am trying to create historical order via Rest Admin API for a Gift Card item.

While I have created the order, an email of Gift Card sent to the customer.  However, since it is a historical order (I am doing site migration), there should not have any new Gift Card being sent to the customer.

What should I do to prevent this?
