How to shorten the whitespace in the header of the Supply theme?

The space in the header of my supply thine is too tall.

I would like to shorten it!

Im not a programmer, but would love to know how to do it myself!

I found the following piece of code, but all this did was remove some space below the logo! 

.header-logo { margin: 15px 0 0; }

What code would I need to remove some space above the logo?
