Please help me edit my order confirmation message text

Hello all,

 

I am trying to edit the order confirmation message that goes to my customers.  I have the statement written the way I want it, but there is an additional line at the top that is not part of the code body.  I'm assuming it is the "custom message" script that I see in the code.  I looked for where this statement might be under "themes - edit default theme content", but can't find it among the tabs.  Any ideas on where I can find this prompt?  Thanks in advance for reading my question.

Since we don't know which theme you're using and we aren't able to see the field you're referring to, then we wouldn't be able to point you to the correct field accurately. It's also worth noting that each of the themes may have a different placement for some of these fields. However, you can try using the Filter item search to look up the keywords or default placeholder texts using the language editor. You can also check under the Checkout & system tab, where most of the checkout fields are.
