Required Dropdown w/ Increased Price Option

Hello!

I use the Dawn theme for my candle store where I sell handmade candles and I'd like to include a required dropdown option for most of my products where the customer can choose the "classic" version of the candle or choose a "signature" version where I add on elements to the top of the candle for an increased price. Is there a way to do this? I'm not interested in paying for apps that do this, I'd rather pay a one-time fee for the customization instead of an app subscription. I've also tried to achieve this using the gift wrapping option in the checkout/cart page and that didn't work either. I've been told this requires its own script or JSON code according to the latest theme conversion. Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Hi @SCatMC 

Would creating variants for your products where you want to offer classic and signature versions work for you? You can have multiple options on your products ie size(sm/md/lg) and style (classic/signature) that are required to be selected.

Thank you for your reply! I thought that would work but how would that affect my inventory? Since it's technically an optional add on I wouldn't have all signature items in stock because they'd be something I would add on at the request of the customer. I would have classic versions in stock but if I listed a signature version option wouldn't I need to list an inventory for those or else it would say "sold out"?
