Script Editor "You can also preview on the Online Store." Link Issue

I've created a "Tiered Spend $X, Get Y% Off" script that's triggered by a particular discount code.   It's a hybrid of the following two scripts from the documentation:  

• Tiered product discount by product spend
• Product discount by discount code

It works great in the Script Editor:

However, after clicking on the " You can also preview on the Online Store. " link, the discount code is no longer recognized:

Is there something wrong with the link?  Will code that runs in the Script Editor work in production?  Any help would be appreciated.
