I'm not sure how this happened but my normal online store "r3re.co" works perfectly fine with no problems or 404 error but when I try customizing the store through Shopify the home page gives me a 404 error but only the homepage. I've tried changing the domain to the myshopify original one but nothing has worked. I am using the Sense theme

Hi @Jonathan66
What I can see from the screenshot is that you are actually not viewing the homepage template instead you are previewing the 404 template.
You can change the template by clicking on the dropdown as shown in image below

And from the list of options available choose the homepage option and you will be able to see the homepage layout.

When I click on the home page it redirects me back to 404 error page but I can go to every other tab besides the homepage. Almost worked though

Hey @Jonathan66
I am just checking and though I could not figure out the exact issue why this is happening on your store, but on order to fix this problem you can just migrate all your content of your previous theme to a new sense theme.
Please let me know if you need more help or explanation in this.
Thanks

How did you notice that the checkout is broken?

I've managed a big Shopify+ store and felt checkout breaking because of a code update so we've recently published an app that constantly checks if your store works properly and notifies you if it breaks - you can install it for free here.
