Personalized checkout and custom promotions with Shopify Scripts
I'm trying to change the css in my theme, I see the change in the back-end editor, but the file is not updating on the site.
This bug appeared this weekend. I try many site, and no one worked.
Anyone else with this bug?
What CSS code did you change it? So you mean you paste it on the base.css file? and not working on the site? maybe it will work on the specific css file? did you try it? or paste it on the theme.liquid. using style tag.
Hi,
All css code don't works. Example I tried a very simple code in my custom css file at the beginning of the document and at the end, but I don't see it showing up in the chrome inspector:
h2{
color : #fff;
}
If I open the CSS file with the inspector, no changes appear, but when I go to see the Shopify editor, my CSS file is modified
Did you check if its the right selector? Would you mind to share your store URL website? with password if its protected. Thanks!
Yes, I tested several selectors. I believe it's a cache problem because if I copy my theme and I make the change on the copy for after publish it, I see my CSS showing up. Here is the website address: https://decorimprime.com/
I added this css "h2{color: #444;}" at the beginning of the document,
but it does not appear in the online file: https://decorimprime.com/cdn/shop/t/72/assets/trylea-custom.css?v=144005530876075305601691495976
this is still a problem. its very odd...
comes up on EVERY site I work on and does not make sense. its as if i addition to the Shopify CDN creating problems there is something else going on with the servers that DOES indeed prevent simple css from loading.
Support just gaslights. Its as if they do not believe it, or, they dont code so communication fails
