Wrong language code for hreflang tags

Hi everyone,

I'm managing a website and have come across some issues with our hreflang tags that I'm hoping someone here can help me with.

1. We’ve identified two main problems:

Incorrect Language Codes in hreflang Tags:
Some of our pages use hreflang tags like de-NL and en-NL, which I believe are incorrect. From what I understand, they should just be de for German and en for English. Has anyone dealt with this before? What’s the best way to correct this site-wide?

2. Duplicate hreflang Tags with Wrong Subdomains:
On one of our pages, there are duplicate hreflang tags pointing to URLs with incorrect subdomains, like de.paleopowders.com. Also, a German tag points to an English page. I’m not sure how these duplicates happened or how best to clean them up. Any advice on fixing this would be greatly appreciated!

I want to make sure these errors are corrected to improve our SEO and ensure the right content is being served to users in different regions. If anyone has experience with these types of issues, your insights would be really valuable!

P.s. is this something that can be can be caused by the #weg-lot app?

Thanks in advance for your help!
