Custom html/liquid sections are ignored?

It took a while to figure out that in order to be able to support translating our custom sections we needed to create a "custom HTML" section tin place of a custom liquid section, now we are able to translate them.

The only issue is that the auto-translate feature does not work, it just returns blank and I can copy and paste the original HTML and translate it manually. 

Is there any way plan to add support for these sections?

If you are having trouble with auto-translate not working for the custom HTML section instead of a custom liquid section, it is likely because the translation software is not able to recognize the code within the HTML section.

To fix this, you may need to manually translate the content within the custom HTML section. Alternatively, you could try converting the custom HTML section to a custom liquid section, which may make it easier for the translation software to recognize the content and translate it automatically.

Seems like that is for your app, I am looking for a solution with the Shopify app, thanks though
