Fonts on my site are having a significant impact on page load as shown:
Is there a way I can reduce this load without doing something drastic like reverting the site to serif/sans serif/mono and ruining the aesthetic?
Any thoughts on this greatly appreciated.
You should be able to use more than a few standard fonts in almost any CMS without affecting your site speed.
The biggest impacts happen when you use custom fonts that have to be processed on page load, especially if using multiple fonts.
If you are able, adding google fonts is relatively easy and adds many more options with little effect on load speed, provided you don't go overboard.
