Online store performance and site speed optimization
Hello Guys!
I'm having a hard time with my product page, its too slow compared to the home page and so..
I'm not an Shopify expert but I think that there are some apps trash that left there and I don't know how to find them and delete them, I will appreciate any help that would come because I really don't know what to do with that issue
Hey, @Itay1806
I'd be happy to look into this for you. I'll first need to attempt to replicate the slow loading times on my end so that we can look into potential culprits. Do you mind sending me the link to an example product page that is loading slowly on your end?
If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know.

Hi @Itay1806
I've checked your page on 2 tools https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/ and https://analyze.speedboostr.com/result/fva92vbre8 and found that the main reason that slow down your page is the gifs and the images that haven't been optimized yet.
- About the gifs you can take the advice of Google: using MPEG4/WebM videos for animations and PNG/WebP for static images instead of GIF to save network bytes. You may try this converter
- About other images on your page: I'd strongly recommend you run those images through an image optimizing tools (to make the size small while still keep the image quality). We have some recommended in an article about how to Speed Up Website and Optimize Page Load Time if you have some time, please check it out https://pagefly.link/VCHGPaAY
- Another recommendation is to implement Lazy loading. You can search Google for guidance, this one for example https://www.huratips.com/tech-tips/how-to-easily-add-lazy-loading-for-images-in-shopify.html
But you are more than welcomed to try our app, PageFly. We do have a free plan where you can create a product page and apply lazy loading to it (just by choosing to enable lazy loading in the page setting, no code needed).
I hope my answer can be helpful to you, if it does, please give me a 'like'.
Thank you very much and I wish you the best of luck!
