Hey @shreyak3596,

I just took a look at your website and was able to navigate around the site with little to no lag using Google Chrome, does this happen on certain pages?

There can be several reasons for sudden slow loading times. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot and improve the speed:

  • Ensure that your internet connection is stable. Run a speed test to check if you're experiencing any network issues or if the problem is limited to your site.
  • Try accessing your site using different devices and networks to see if the slowness is specific to one device or network. This will help identify if the problem is localized or widespread.
  • Use online tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, or Pingdom Tools to analyze your site's performance. These tools provide insights into specific performance issues and suggestions for improvement.
  • Clear the cache and cookies in your browser or try accessing your site in an incognito/private browsing window. Cached data can sometimes interfere with website loading.
  • Although you mentioned uninstalling unnecessary apps, it's worth double-checking the settings of the remaining apps. Ensure that settings related to scripts and functionality are optimized to avoid any performance impact.
  • Review your site for broken links, images, or videos that might be causing delays in loading. Such issues can slow down the entire site.
  • If you recently made changes to your theme or coding, consider rolling back those changes to see if it resolves the speed issue. Additionally, check for any recent theme updates that might have caused performance degradation.

Let me know how you get on!

Hello @shreyak3596

I have checked your site in the Google Page Insights tool. There is a low score on your website. It needs to be improved, especially on mobile devices.

Below are some factors that might impact the speed of your online store, and how you can address them.

You need to work on the following points:

  • Theme Upgrade if there is a scope and upgraded theme available
  • Reduce JS Payload.
  • Use Critical CSS.
  • Reduce Large Image Sizes
  • Migrate Tracking Codes To Google Tag Manager
  • Compress Images
  • Limit Third-Party JavaScript & Shopify Apps
  • Preload Web Fonts.

I suggest limiting it to one and using a standard web font.

By fixing these issues, your website speed score can definitely improve.

If anything needs to be included or clarified then feel free to ask.  We will surely help you.

Hello @shreyak3596,

I am Gina from flareAI app helping Shopify merchants get $7Million+ in sales from Google Search, on autopilot. I am here to support you.

Here are some troubleshooting steps to help improve the speed of your store.

- Verify your Shopify hosting plan. If you're currently utilizing shared hosting, it's possible that your store's performance is being hindered by resource sharing with other stores. It may be beneficial to upgrade to a dedicated hosting plan or a VPS hosting plan.

- Assess your image dimensions. Large image sizes can impede the loading speed of your store. Consider compressing your images or employing a service like ImageKit to optimize them specifically for web usage.

- Deactivate unused apps. Even if certain apps are not actively in use, they can still affect your store's speed if they are installed. Review your app list and disable any that are unnecessary or unused.

- Implement a caching plugin. Employing a caching plugin allows for the storage of static content on your server, facilitating quicker loading times for your pages.

- Condense your CSS and JavaScript files. By minifying your CSS and JavaScript files, you can reduce their file size, resulting in faster loading times for your pages.

- Utilize a CDN. Incorporating a CDN (content delivery network) can enhance loading speed by delivering your store's content from servers located closer to your customers, minimizing latency.

- Remember to regularly monitor and optimize your store's performance to ensure a smooth and swift shopping experience for your customers.

- Review installed apps. Even if you haven't recently installed any new apps, it's possible that an existing app could be causing performance issues. Review the apps you have installed and consider temporarily disabling or uninstalling them one by one to identify if any particular app is causing the slowdown.

Please don't hesitate to reach out if you require any additional assistance.
