If you run your store URL through the Shopify Analyzer, it should give you some tips on what can potentially be done to improve site performance. That's a free tool our team built for the Shopify community.

We typically see Shopify speed scores range from 20-35 and it doesn't necessarily mean your site is performing slow. Your speed score is based on Google's Lighthouse engine and a bunch of different factors go into calculating that score. We have an article that goes more in-depth: Shopify Speed Tool Analysis + How To Make Your Site Faster.

So I'd recommend running your URL through the Analyzer, seeing what recommendations it provides, and implementing them. Beyond that, keep apps to a minimum and uninstall any apps you don't need. Also, keep in mind that just because you uninstall an app doesn't necessarily mean the code has been fully removed from your theme. It's best to jump into your theme code after uninstalling an app to verify that it's been fully removed.
