Does anyone have an idea how to improve shopify store speed? My page speed score has been never been higher than 30. I am not sure resizing images size can help to increase the website speed as the score is really low, 21(mobile) and 66(desktop) as of today.
I am not sure if it is the theme problem or what else that cause the website this slow. Been trying to fix this problem months. Thanks.

Your site has poor performance due to scripts and styles. This is the problem in all three main pages (home, collection, product). We can help you with all these Core Web Vitals optimizations on TBT, LCP, and TTI. They will give the greatest effect on growth in productivity and in the user experience. Having improved these indicators, usually, other indicators will also rise. Since desktops are more productive than mobile phones or tablets. We will take measurements on mobile phones and try to achieve the yellow zone in the Pagespeed Insights indicators. From our experience, we know that the yellow zone on the mobile platform is equivalent to the green zone on the desktop. We will sort not only by scripts but also by styles for criticality. Critical resources will be loaded first – we will reduce the blocking of rendering to the maximum possible. Non-critical resources will be loaded later, after rendering. This will improve these critical metrics.
Long story short, if you wish we can help your store with Speed Optimization.
Soon, we will release our app that helps Shopify stores to improve their speed performance. And you can be one of our first customers.
All details, we can discuss by email: email@example.com
I will be glad to help you and give our advice on further steps.
Those Page Speed Insights (PSI) scores are actually pretty common for Shopify sites. Due to apps, external scripts, and having your site built on top of a 3rd party platform (Shopify), most stores don't score very high. We typically see scores range between 20-35 for mobile.
Here are a few articles we have that go into more detail on the relationship between PSI and Shopify:
I ran your homepage through the Shopify Analyzer (free tool we built for the Shopify community). It looks like you could benefit from some image compression, clearing a 404 error, and improving your lazy loading. Here's your full report: https://analyze.speedboostr.com/result/fz8x3jl91d.
You're getting a 404 error related to your Google Tag Manager. It's likely an invalid ID.
You have at least 8 images that need to be lazy loaded. Lazy loading delays the loading of images until they come into a user's view. This way you're improving page performance by not loading all of your images upfront. We have an article that can help walk you through the process of implementing lazy loading: How to Lazy Load Images on Shopify to Make Your Site Faster.
I'd also evaluate the apps you have installed to see if any can be removed. Apps tend to have a pretty significant impact on performance and PSI scores. Also, keep in mind that even after you uninstall an app it doesn't mean the code has been fully removed from your theme. It's best to go through your main theme files to ensure no old app code was left behind.
Those are some of the top recommendations I can give. I'd suggest running your Collections and Product pages through the Shopify Analyzer as well.
