Homepage of website loads when you access via Desktop, Ipad, Cell Phone. (slow but it loads) however when you click on a link(collection) a error comes up.
Once you click on any "collection" it says:
A problem repeatedly occurred on "http://www.duchessboutique.com.au/collecions/bridesmaid".
Works including all links (collections)
A bit of back round editing to website during the last week:
- Added a video as the first landing page. I have since removed that and added a image(slide) in stead
- APP: Activated App on website called Pre Order Globo
- APP: AVA SEO Image Optimizer Speed - They optimized website for "free" for it to load quicker a few days ago
- Added more products to sell on website
- Uploaded videos in "Content Files"
I am really unsure on what to to do to fix the issue.
I realize that i may be told to update my iPhone etc however i have asked friends and family to view the website and they have the same error message issue which means customers who are visiting the website are also having issues.
PLEASE HELP ASAP!
The collection pages work fine, it seems that the url you posted has a typo: https://www.duchessboutique.com.au/collections/bridesmaid (missing t in collections).
Maybe the link in the menu is also broken? Have you tried opening the collections page from the admin page?
Thank you for your message. Apologies yes however the link still doesn’t work when viewing from cell mobile phone.
Had a look at the link and it seems the loading is taking ages but it does load for me in the end after ±1 min.
https://www.duchessboutique.com.au/products/mia-curve-plus.js -- any idea what this could be?
I debugged the page and it seems the page is hanging due to a JS script that is hanging but because everything's minified it's a bit hard to see more into it.
I'd contact the theme developer and ask them to have a look.
Hope that helps.
I am experiencing the exact same error message. I'm only able to get the problem on iPhones (Android seems fine, desktop seems fine). It's happening on both Chrome and Safari, for users around the country (so different devices, different internet networks, different software versions...). I have no idea what's causing the problem and shopify support has been useless. Did you ever find a solution?
Try looking at your theme's animation settings! I just worked with Shopify support for two months on a very similar issue happening for my store (using the Studio theme). There was an animation in there that they recently released that has a bug that effects the products page only on iPhones. Go to your theme settings, find the animation section, and make sure the checkbox for "Reveal sections on scroll" is unchecked/disabled. Hope this helps!
