Hello @sametcankaya,

I am Gina from flareAI app, and I am here to provide assistance.

There can be several reasons why your Shopify home page is loading slowly.

Here are a few possible reasons:

1. Large Image Files
High-quality images can increase page size, which can lead to slow loading times. Try optimizing your images by compressing them or reducing their size.

2. Poorly optimized theme
Using a theme that is optimized for performance means a theme that is responsive, fast, and takes minimal time to load the page.

3. Apps and Plugins
Using too many apps and plugins can also slow down your website. Try removing any unnecessary apps or plugins, and make sure the ones you keep are up-to-date.

4. Heavy Third-party Integrations
If you are using heavy third-party integrations such as analytics tools or marketing services, it can slow down your website. Try removing any integrations that are not essential.

5. Don't add too many images on a page
Adding too many images on a page can be frustrating. It can significantly slow the load time of your website. Also, it can overwhelm visitors, which will ultimately result in a poor user experience, a high bounce rate, and a high probability of lower rankings in relative search results.

6. You can run the Shopify Theme Inspector for Chrome to identify the lines of code that are slowing down pages in your online store.

7. Minify CSS and JavaScript
Minification removes unnecessary characters, such as whitespace and comments, from your code, reducing the size of the files and improving the loading speed.

In conclusion, there are several possible reasons why your Shopify home page is loading slowly. It's best to analyze your website thoroughly to identify specific issues and make the necessary improvements.

Hello @sametcankaya,

The performance of Shopify websites mainly depends on the server, custom functionality, and everything that runs on the frontend.

That is why it is recommended to investigate what’s causing the website to load slowly.
Assess the current state of your website’s load time using one of these online tools Google PageSpeed Insights, Lighthouse, GTmetrix, or WebPageTest. Most online tools audit your webpage’s weak points and present a chart that provides suggestions for website speed optimization. Based on the results, you will have a more coherent idea of what aspects require attention to improve your load time.

Hello @sametcankaya,

Yes, definitely. We have large experience optimizing website performance for our client's websites built on Shopify. One of the examples is described on our website in Case studies section (not sure if I can provide direct links here, Shopify can ban me). The case is called - GENERATE. Please, send me a direct message, if you'd like to discuss this further.
