Hi there, hope everyone day is fantastic,

I'm current stucked with a huge issue and in an urgency. I am advertising Sales Campaign ads on Meta and it got a total of 80+ link clicks to my product page. Everything seems right in the Ads Settings. However, having a total of 100% bounce rate and a extremely ridiculous low average session duration is absurd. I currently have spend lots on money on Facebook Advertising and not sure why having this issues. I also done browsing my products page link with different mobile phone and it will load immediately.

Hi @blissbody88  Thank you for reaching out. I understand the urgency of resolving this issue with your Facebook ad campaign, especially given the high bounce rate and low average session duration you are experiencing. Here’s a breakdown of potential reasons and solutions:

  1. Page Speed: Although you mentioned the page loads immediately on different mobile phones, ensure it is consistently fast for all users. Tools like Google PageSpeed Insights can help analyze and provide suggestions.
  2. Mobile Optimization: Ensure that your landing page is fully optimized for mobile devices. Check for any elements that might not render well or could cause users to leave quickly.
  3. Relevance and Engagement: Ensure that the landing page content matches the ad's promise. Any disconnect here can lead to immediate bounces.
  4. Audience Relevance: Ensure that your ad targeting is precise. Sometimes, broad targeting can lead to clicks from users who aren’t genuinely interested in your product.
  5. Ad Content: Make sure your ad copy and visuals accurately represent what users will find on the landing page.
  6. UTM Parameters: Double-check your UTM parameters to ensure they are set up correctly and track the right metrics.
  7. Analytics Setup: Verify that your Google Analytics or any other tracking tools are correctly set up to capture accurate data.

Steps to Diagnose and Fix

  1. Use tools like Google PageSpeed Insights, GTmetrix, and Mobile-Friendly Test to ensure your page performs well.
  2. Review the content, layout, and overall user experience of the landing page.
  3. Review the demographics, interests, and behaviors you are targeting. Narrow down to more specific segments if necessary.
  4. Test different ad creatives and copies to see which ones perform better.
  5. Ensure your UTM parameters are correctly applied to your ad URLs.
  6. Review your Google Analytics setup to ensure it is tracking sessions and durations accurately.
