So I've driven a lot of traffic to my new store and run ads on pinterest, still no orders 😞 

What am I doing wrong?

A few thoughts / recommendations:


  • Is the traffic "qualified" traffic? (Target audience, etc.)
    • What are the insights from Google Analytics and Google Search Console?

Home page

  • Fantastic splash photos!

  • Add a unique value proposition above the fold. A value proposition is a promise of value to be delivered. It’s the primary reason a prospect should buy from you. 

    It’s also the #1 thing that determines whether people will bother reading more about your product or hit the back button. On your site, your value proposition is the main thing you need to test—if you get it right, it will be a huge boost.

  • Update the copy about the brand so that it truly resonates with potential customers. When I read this copy, I'm immediately questioning the authenticity of the store because of the claim of being "the world's leading expert" when I haven't heard of the brand before.
  • Instead of making these bold claims without supporting them with data or social proof, incorporate "storyhacking."
    • 11 storytelling elements to get people hooked on your copy:
      • Element #1: A relatable protagonist/hero (your target customer)
      • Element #2: A world (the emotional motivators)
      • Element #3: A call to adventure (goal or problem to solve)
      • Element #4: The stakes/refusal of the call (nightmare scenario)
      • Element #5: A helper (your brand)
      • Element #6: A magical item (your offer)
      • Element #7: Crossing the first threshold (CTA)
      • Element #8: The belly of the whale (onboarding/lead nurturing)
      • Element #9: Road of trials (split-testing)
      • Element #10 The happily ever after (future pacing)
      • Element #11 The return (testimonials & brand advocacy)
  • I didn't notice the shop now button (i.e. the main call to action) because it's all the way on the left side of the screen. When users land on your site, their eye path starts from the upper-left corner and moves down and right from there (more on that here).

  • Consider offering free shipping on all products and just work shipping into product pricing. In a survey by Walker Sands Communications, 90% of people said that having an order ship for free is the biggest incentive to add more to their cart, while another survey found up to 74% of shoppers will abandon their cart if delivery fees are too high. (More on that here.)

Product pages

  • Gather and share more social proof in the form of product video reviews to supplement photos and written reviews.

About us

  • Update the About Us page to include storytelling as well. Be sure to ensure that the copy on the page is unique from the home page but still communicates the same vision.

Social media

  • If you haven't: create a unique hashtag and encourage customers to use it and tag your store on Instagram, etc.


  • Ensure that your website meets the standards on Google Search Central.
  • For on-page SEO, add original, creative content to your home page and product pages.
  • For off-page SEO, get backlinks via co-marketing campaigns, blogging, communities, social media.

I just had look into your website. I observed few points on your store, I hope those helps for you.

-> You have less niche. If you want to increase your list try shopify app.
-> I see one of your item in view page, item contains only specifications you can add the description of items, An elegantly composed item description clarifies the advantages of the item and persuades the customer that they need the item as well as need it. Your item description is the one you need to catch their eye to in light of the fact that it can without much of a stretch pull in them and influence them to put in a request.
-> You can add the item reviews under product page, Item reviews can help give customers that additional propel they have to confide in your online shop and finish their buy. I would suggest including item reviews too, as reviews for customers to share their positive experience thus different customers can see the reviews and be influenced to purchase.
