Hello

I was hoping to get feedback or suggestions that will give me guidance on what to focus on that could be preventing my store from turning visitors to actual sale conversions. 

My Shopify store Artinteriordesigns.com has been active for 3 months. I receive some traffic to my store mainly with paid ad promotions via Facebook and Pinterest. My store offers free standard shipping on all purchases. According to my store analytics customers mainly spend no more than 30 seconds viewing my store and most view my home page but dont look at my products.

I watched a few videos made some updates like lowering prices, adding my store catalog to the home page etc.

Clearly I have absolutely no experience I watched videos and tried making a lot of updates but  I am not sure what I need to focus on to get sales.

I had viewed your website shortly and here are some of my points that I hope useful and you can implement on it easily.

-> You can Add category on navigation bar.
-> You have less niche, You can increase your products list then only visitors are spare more time on your website and may chances to purchase.
-> Testimonials are one of the most important bits of duplicate you can put on your site, landing page, sales letter, or any other kind of marketing communication. The reason for this is they give your audience that one final push to buy your product. You can Add it.
-> I am unable to find social media pages of your website. Have you created? I suggest you can do Social Media Marketing. Social media is commendable as you get to reach a large number of people within seconds of posting an ad, helping you reduce your costs, and making your ads reach out to your potential audience through these social media advertisements. Not only ads you can just regularly post your product images or videos...etc.

Hope you are doing good.  Every thing looks fine ,But for getting good traffic and for attracting customers .I would like to suggest few points. And here are few suggestions.

Social login: I would like to suggest social login page like login with facebook,  instagram , google ,linked in and twitter. which helps the customer to login easily .

Place Buy now below products ,which helps customer to buy directly from product without going to product page

Rewards and credits: Start giving dedication focuses to your customers on various credits like joining, subscription, registration,  Order credits, Cart Value, Item review, Monthly, Birth day, Referral and many more, making a buy,  sharing or following via web-based media mean referral rewards. This will assist you with captivating your customers and hold them. You can compensate your customers to reclaim those focuses. At the point when you will offer focuses to them they will come back again later on to cause a buy to reclaim those focuses. Setup a reward program for giving points and let customers redeem on their next purchase.

Testimonials: Testimonials at bottom of home page to showcase your store’s happy customers ,which will give positive impression about the store .You can make a great impression on your customers by displaying testimonials. When good reviews are shown, your audiences will likely stay longer and take action. You can add them below your product on your home page. 

Recently viewed items:
Many customers want to view previous items. If it’s too difficult to view again previous items, they will likely frustrated, and may not purchase anymore. Based on people’s browsing history, you can either remind users of the product they previously viewed or recommend more products similar to those products.



Blog: Blog posting will allow you to show your followers a personal side of your business. In this way you can engage with Existing and New customers.

Social sharing in home page in footer section : As per promotion, Try add discount on social sharing feature  promote your store by your customers. For this, you may consider our app at Tuecus-Customer Account Page  it has Free plan too.

-> You can create a videos on your products and these also you can share on social media pages daily, this will helpful for your conversions.

- Add a call to action button on the banner image.

- Issue with navigation - Make your store easy to navigate. Add a sticky header with a drop-down menu. If your store will be easy to navigate it will help you to reduce the bounce rate.

Sorry to hear your conversions aren't where you had anticipated. I've taken a look through your store and have some feedback for you.

POP UPS
I noticed a lot of things vying for my attention upon landing. I had a a newsletter pop up, and then the Facebook popup to the right. There is also no visible X to your newsletter so that would explain your comment that "According to my store analytics customers mainly spend no more than 30 seconds viewing my store and most view my home page but dont look at my products." When the person first lands we don't want to present them with pop-ups (especially pop ups you cannot get out of). Instead you want to think, okay, what are my top three priorities for this visit? For example, it might be: 1. Make a sale 2. Get a newsletter sign up 3. Have them follow me on social media.

When you are contemplating adding pop-ups to your website, ask yourself, does this help achieve one of these goals or does it distract from one of these goals? The next step is strategically presenting them at the right time, on the right page. 

HOMEPAGE BANNER
That main banner area is prime real estate for selling.  One of the keys of selling is getting inside your customers head, what problem do they have that you can solve? What words or phrases do they use that you can as well to show that you understand their needs. We recommend using this type of text in your banner. For the format, we recommend having a professional photo of your products, a title introducing your brand or product, a line of text underneath that expands on your title and a call to action button such as "Shop Now". Here is an example:

LOGO
Your logo is one of those things that holds a lot of weight in how professional or unprofessional your store looks. I would highly recommend having a professional logo done up for your store, it’s a worthy investment.

Once your logo is finished, you can match the fonts and colors in your store to your logo. This is going to level up your store even more and make you look very professional.

FAVICON
I’d recommend adding a favicon so that your visitors can find you quickly when they have multiple tabs open in their browser. We did a video on how to upload a favicon that you can watch here:

POWERED BY SHOPIFY
This is completely optional but if you’d like to remove the text “Powered by Shopify” at the bottom, here is how to do it:

NAVIGATION
You need to add a link to your products in your navigation bar. If a visitor leaves the homepage, there is no way for them to find your product selection without first going back to the homepage.

SOCIAL MEDIA
I noticed you don’t have any social media links listed. Having an active social media presence adds trust to your brand. If there’s nothing about your brand online, it’s a red flag to your visitors. Potential customers are going to research before purchasing and one of the first places they are going to check is social media. Highly recommend getting on social media and adding those links to your Shopify store.

SHIPPING
You need to add in an estimated shipping time at checkout. For some people, shipping time can be a deal breaker so they won’t proceed with their purchase without that information.
If you are concerned that displaying longer shipping times will turn people off, I would say that for some it might but long-term, you want happy customers so it's better to say up front, "hey, this could take up to 3-4 weeks to arrive" rather than not giving a shipping time and then getting an email 2 weeks later from an unhappy customer wondering where their package is.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

I’d recommend working on your product descriptions. There are way to many options, it not only makes it confusing for the customer but it's also going to add a lot of confusion and room for error during fulfillment. There are things you can add in and change in order to increase conversions. We did a video all about this which you can watch here:

PRODUCTS
As you know, wall art and wallpaper can be purchased offline in hundreds retail stores as well as online through thousands and thousands of online stores. When a person is searching for a piece of art or wallpaper in Google, big companies with massive marketing budgets are who is showing up in search results and who you are competing with for customers.

Now, a person can complete IF they give people a reason to purchase from them vs. the other guys. An example of this might be someone who sells locally, their "reason" as to why you should purchase from them vs the other guy is because they are local and a lot of people are passionate about shopping local. In addition to this, they can also get products to their customers faster and can offer incentives such as free local delivery.

I would think about all your "whys" and what sets you apart and use that in your marketing and in the text in your store.

If you cannot find a way to set yourself apart in the market, it is time to move onto different products. What we recommend is selling winning products. A winning product choice should have these qualities:

  1. High demand. Look for "problem fixing products".
  2. Not easily accessible. Look for products that are not available in stores or online through big retailers or Amazon.
  3. Popular. Look for trending products.
  4. Good profit margin. We recommend 3x what it costs you for the product.
