Honestly your best bet is to figure out what customers are doing once they get to your store and where they are dropping off.
There is a free tool called Clarity that you can use to get free session recordings and heat maps of your Shopify Store.
The recordings and the heat map should help you figure out what is happening. And here's a YouTube video on how to set it up:

I hope this helps you out.

Hi @pumpkinspice ,

I understand how frustrating it can be to spend a lot on ads without seeing any sales. However, it's crucial for your store to look authentic in order to gain visitors' trust. After reviewing your website, I noticed several areas that could be improved. Here are some key points:

  1. Your business domain isn’t connected to your store yet.
  2. The color of your website logo doesn't match the background of the header.
  3. The product media and product details sections should be equal in width on the product page.
  4. There’s no option for customers to view or read reviews.
  5. The About Us and Contact Us pages consist of only plain text.
  6. The FAQs page is missing.

Improving your Shopify store’s design is essential before expecting results from the ads you're running. Addressing these issues will help build trust and ultimately increase conversions.

Hello @pumpkinspice,

I'm Tracy from BON Loyalty, the top-rated Shopify loyalty app.

I’m sorry to hear that your store hasn’t achieved the expected revenue, despite all the investment you’ve made. Below are a few suggestions from me, a product marketer, that I hope can help improve your shop's performance:

1/ Review the target audience for Meta Ads:
If your ads are driving traffic to the store but not generating sales, it could be due to inaccurate targeting. This might result in visitors coming to your store but not having the intent to purchase.
You should reassess your target audience before continuing to invest in Meta ads. Ask yourself questions like: Which locations (regions) will find it easier to access and purchase from your store? (Consider shipping costs and logistics, especially in case of refunds or exchanges). What is the appropriate age range for the style of your products? (Avoid targeting a large range like 16–45, as this could lead to low-quality leads.)

2/ Website:
A few areas for improvement on your website include:
- Adding a favicon to increase the site's credibility.

I don’t see the branding and unique selling points of your shop yet. You could start by identifying the main color scheme for the website, and choosing a more attractive theme rather than using Shopify’s free default theme, which has limited design options. You could consider using Theme editor apps like Gempages or PageFly for more theme options without needing to hire a designer.
- Product images lack consistency: As you can see, some images use a white font, while others have a background, making them inconsistent and unorganized.

- The hero banner on the homepage doesn’t seem appropriate: You should display images that reflect your branding, help promote your business, or seasonal promotional banners like Halloween, BFCM, etc. The current leaf image doesn’t match your store’s vibe.

3/ Other Suggestions:
If your prices are significantly higher than those of competitors, customers may look elsewhere. For example, I noticed you’re selling a notebook for $20, but this is a stationery item that can be found almost anywhere for much cheaper.
You could explore apps for bundling or BOGO offers to create product packages that encourage upselling and increase order value.
