Feedback for your online store from the community
Hi all,
I set up a new Dropship store to generate some sideline income. Store is built on the Dawn template. I have no previous experience in website development or building, and would appreciate any feedback, bad or good I can get. Store has been live for 3 weeks and have only generated 3 sales. Spent roughly $800 on Social marketing and to date had about 3000 visitors to the site. Not sure if the site or the products is the problem. www.bag-mecca.com

Congratulations on your launch! I have just had a look at your store. It's pretty good. I would love to provide my recommendations for your store, just some small things I'd suggest for your Homepage for a better chance of gaining sales. May it help!
1. Add a favicon to your store
Having a favicon for your store will make your store unique and help customers easily recognize it. You can check this article to know how to add it: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/images/add-favicon
2. Revise your hero banner
The banner is very significant in hero material. It is the first thing customers see when they visit your website. Let's get consumers to know exactly what you're having in 5 seconds first. It can show the attractive products you have.
3. Have a CTA button on the banner/ slideshow
A primary call to action button is one of the important things for a home page of an online store.
With this button, you will redirect customers to the page you want them to take action mostly. It can redirect to a collection page, a product page, etc.
Here is an example from our template about hero banner and CTA:
4. Add a section about your brand story
A brand story helps customers understand more about your business and also helps your store look more professional.
5. Add testimonials - customer reviews
Customer reviews are proof of your product quality. This section will help you build customers' trust. You can show rating stars for each product or you can add customer reviews as text and photos.
Reviews are crucial when it comes to shopping online. PageFly allows you to add testimonials and product reviews to the page in easy ways. You can see this example below:

Mentioning a few pointers that I think will be useful:
- Add a Customer profile icon and wishlist icon next to the cart icon.
- Consider using the 'Coupon Discount on Cart' App from the Shopify App store for all your discounting needs. This App shows all available discounts to the customer right at Cart Page in popup mode. Thus boosting sales.
- Speed Optimization is recommended for your website as its scoring 71 on mobiles. A fast website scores 90+. This affects your search engine ranking.
As for Sales:
- Check if customers are adding products to cart
- Check if customers are abandoning cart
- Are your products priced competitively?
That's about all I could notice from a glance at your store.
