I have a Shopify store and I’m just looking for honest feedback and for a way to get more orders coming through for my store. The stores’ niche is centred around Christmas and birthday gifts and if anyone could comment on the best way to go about marketing for this, that would be greatly appreciated 😊

Hi @Zecommerce, I have some suggestions after taking a look your store:

  • Recommend you change price cent of your products all the same, example $xx.99 or $xx.95...
  • You must add more description with key work of your item, its good for SEO

With regards to your inquiry, please refer to the following for some of my feedback about your store: 


  • Are you able to explain why you have chosen the brown looking color as the theme for your store? The website looks great but given your niche/category, a more festive look may help entice more buyers to continue and make a purchase. 
  • With regards to the home gadget section of your store, are you finding that these products are selling as well? If not, I would recommend you remove them and simply focus on your christmas/birthday niche. Adding more products may seem to be a good idea initially but it ultimately may confuse customers as well. 
  • Adding product reviews in the homepage as well as the product page is also a great way to increase conversions. 
  • Adding a blog to your store can also be very beneficial; it is another way to market and showcase your products. Check out this help document that walks you through this.  
  • I have also found this blog post from us that helps you market during this time of year.

9. Add average ratings for each product
Including both user rating and number of ratings on the products will help users to make decision whether to buy your product or not.
10. Add sticky header
Adding sticky header allow users to quickly access the navigation, search, and utility-navigation elements without scrolling up to the top of the page. They increase the discoverability of the elements in the header and the chance that users will take advantage of them.
11. Add Blogging in the store
