Feedback for your online store from the community
Hello Shopifyers,
As the title suggests, I would appreciate any feedback on my dropshipping store, adorethepaw.myshopify.com
I am going to buy a professional domain when I have the website sorted out completely.
Does anyone have any suggestions, or does it look good?
Obviously, I think it looks pretty decent, but I am surely a little biased!

I appreciate that you have provided us with your online store URL so we can take a look and explore.
When taking a look at your store today I noticed that you do not currently have a favicon set for your website. A favicon is a small square image that represents a website in web browser tabs. If you take a look at the top tab bar of your browser right now, I’m sure you’ll see several favicons! Typically, favicons feature a logo, the first letter of the company name or simply an image that reflects the specifics of the website it represents. Adding a favicon to your online store can help strengthen your brand and add a polished look to your website. You can click on this link to read instructions on how to create and add your own favicon your store.
Keep in mind that these images are displayed quite small, so it's good to keep in mind that the image you use should be readable at small sizes.
What do you think about adding Product Reviews? It can allow your customers to leave their product reviews for others to see. It is a great way to offer a buyer incentive and share their experience with other customers. It can definitely encourage a purchase!

Mentioning a few pointers that I think will be useful:
- Add a Wishlist icon next to your Customer Profile Icon so customers can keep purchases for later.
- Website needs a favicon
- Add more policies? Ex: Contact, Privacy Policy, Return Policy, Terms of Services, FAQ. This generates trust on your store.
- Product page doesn't have reviews. This also build trust on your website.
- No Social Media Icons on Home Page? This helps bring in more traffic to your store.
- A live chat option would definitely boost sales clearing any doubts customers may have.
- Consider using the 'Coupon Discount on Cart' App from the Shopify App store for all your discounting needs. This App shows all available discounts to the customer right at Cart Page in popup mode. Thus boosting sales.
- Speed Optimization is perfect. Good job there!

1. Hero banner
For the third slideshow, you should use similar images as the others. This should be an image of the “For Humans" products.
You seem to be wasting too much space here:
2. Showcase your Instagram or other social profiles
As usual, social media is one of the effective ways to get more traffic and make a good connection with your customers. Display social media such as Instagram and constantly update the feed.
3. Show your policies
Information on shipping and payment should be made clear from the first place. You should include this information below the hero banner. When the customers actively know your policies, they will be more likely to make purchases.
Take this one for example:

1. Use swatches as selectors for color variations
I find that your product has more than one color option, but you have not had the variant option for color on your product page. Users who cannot easily determine all the color variations a product comes in may overlook options they would prefer and prematurely abandon a product that could have been suitable.
The solution is that you use swatches to display and select color variations (not dropdown).

2. Display a minimum of 6 reviews by default, with the ability to load more
Users’ reviews are very important in online shopping. To increase conversion rate, it is advised that you have a review section where customers can read true reviews of your products. And you should display a minimum of 6 reviews by default. A too-short list of reviews prevents exploration and pattern detection.
3. Always allow buyers to submit product reviews
Buyers always value reviews as a “personal” recommendation from other buyers, relying on and trusting reviewers to essentially vouch for the quality of the product. When you leave space for your customers to leave reviews, the chance that your sales increase can be much higher.
