Hi,

I recently set up my shop for art prints: www.kanal-100.com

I sell fine art prints of my analog photography.

I like the page but haven't made any sales in the first 2 days so far...

Please feel free to give feedback!

Thank you.

Hey, @Kanal100

Happy to help! First off, I think you've really got the basics dialled in nicely on your store. Clean product photography, the website is very minimalistic and clean, while looking personable and professional.

I do have one suggestion: I'd recommend breaking out your menu categories so that your customers can see them all at a glance. Don't just hide all your products behind a single 'Catalog' menu item. Consider breaking the products up into various categories (color, artistic style, size, etc). The result should be reflected in an increased add-to-cart rate.

Lastly, our guide on how to make your first ecommerce sale is a terrific starting point to get some actionable steps you can take to market your brand and products to others.

If there is anything else I can help you with, please let me know.

Hi @Kanal100,

I'm Kate from PageFly - Shopify Landing Page Builder.

Congratulations on your new store! I love your photography artworks which are unique with storytelling and also visual aesthetic, giving me a sense of serenity when looking at them all; the website design looks clean & majestic. It's clear that you've put a lot of thought and effort into creating a great online presence. From my Conversion Rate Optimization expertise, I would like to offer some suggestions to help you get more engagement & increase sales.

1. Add a favicon logo for your website

As I can see, your website currently lacks a favicon logo. This is the small logo that typically appears in a browser tab, and I've highlighted it in the screenshot below. Favicon logos can improve the user experience by making it easier for visitors to identify your site when they have multiple tabs open in their browser. It also makes bookmarking and navigating to your site more intuitive.

2. Add the See more button to your first showcase

As related to artwork, people have various senses and different favorite styles. So I recommend adding the See more / Explore more button to your Feature products section to allow shoppers to view additional products from your first showcase. This would help reduce bounce rate as they can continue to explore other options to their liking, so increase shoppers' engagement & allow more chances of getting sales.

PageFlyKate_1-1702868085709.png3. Better display your product with image / color swatches

As your products are visual-driven, consider using image / color swatches to display product variants, instead of current text-based swatches. Color swatches make your product options more visually appealing, enticing customers to explore and engage with your products. It also provides a clear representation of available options, reducing any confusion and ensuring customers select their preferred choice more accurately & quickly.

A great way to enhance store visual & increase sales is to create shoppable Instagram feeds on your site. Consider using apps such as VIBE, Instafeed, to showcase stunning Instagram feeds from your own posts, tag products in your photos and reels, & allow your customers to shop right in your Instagram feed.

5. Don’t miss out on the Festive Season!

Don't overlook the importance of promotion events during the holiday season. It will help you get the best out of holiday season traffic on the platform & get your very first sales. Here are some actions you can take for the upcoming New Year Eve:

  • Create a New year-themed landing page which highlights exclusive deals and provides a cohesive holiday experience for visitors
  • Add a countdown timer to the most noticeable spot on your website (ex: Announcement bar, Homepage banner, Pop-up, etc) to create a sense of urgency and drive conversions.

Hi Kanal100,

This is Amee from Gojiberry - Shopify Survey & Feedback App

Your store looks very nice! I took a more detailed look at your store and have a few suggestions that will help increase conversion rate:

1. Testimonials. Showcasing a few testimonials on your home page -- whether from online customers or family/friends, helps promote more consumer trust and confidence.

2. Call to action button. Add an add-to-cart button or any call-to-action button underneath each product.
3.  Adding a blog. Tell us the stories behind each of the photos you took, would make the product all the more appealing if they understand the story, meaning, or just the journey behind this.

4. Ask your customers! (Most effective for increasing conversion) When you have some converting customers, ask them how they found out about your shop. You can easily do so with a post-purchase survey app, and reward your customers with coupons/points to keep them coming back again. Once you find out your strongest marketing channel, focus more effort and money on that.

Hope this helps!
