Feedback for your online store from the community
Hi everyone, I opened my Shopify store and started running Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok ads for two full days now, all with a daily budget of $50. While I am getting a decent amount of traffic, the bounce rate is extremely high (95-100%), making the average length of stay 1-3 seconds. I can't figure out whether it's my product page or my ads or something else. Can you guys take a look at my website and point out what I could improve? Any feedback is appreciated, thanks in advance!

I haven't implemented any "marketing strategies" to my store, but I have tried different methods that I learned through experience.
Hi there @LUXYBAG
I'm Garcia, a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) expert at PageFly. It sounds like you've put a lot of effort into your store. High bounce rates can be discouraging, but it's important to remember that it's a common challenge many new businesses face. Moreover, I think your product is great. I've reviewed your store and identified some key areas where we can optimize your conversion rate. Here are some actionable recommendations:
1. Enhance Product Page Clarity and Persuasiveness:
While your product pages have good content, the presentation can be optimized. Consider using image-text layouts to showcase key features and benefits.
Extract USPs from your descriptions and create a dedicated section below product details for high-impact communication.
You can take PageFly premade template - Packy as example:
For color variants, use color swatches instead of text labels. Color swatches provide a visual representation of the color options available for a product, allowing customers to see exactly what each color looks like. This can help them make a more informed decision about their purchase. You can take PageFly premade template - Bose as reference:
2. Prioritize Mobile User Experience (UX)
Currently, when users click on mobile product images, they zoom out, disrupting their browsing experience. To enhance user flow, consider configuring the zoom functionality to display the original size upon click. Many users access websites from their smartphones, so it's crucial that your site looks and functions well on mobile.
3. Speed Up Your Mobile Pages
According to the Google PageSpeed Insight, the speed of the product page in mobile now is 49 which is quite low. Since mobile is a prime sales channel, prioritize page speed optimization. Use Google PageSpeed Insights to identify and address performance bottlenecks.
4. Maximize Sales with Upcoming Events (e.g., Mother's Day)
You can take look at PageFly premade template - Flora Mother’s Day as reference:
By implementing these CRO strategies, you can expect to see a noticeable change in sales not just during Mother's Day, but throughout the year.

Hope it helps!

Garcia

Hello,
I hope you are doing good and welcome to the Shopify Community!
I am San from MS Web Designer.
Thank you for sharing your store URL. This allowed me to go through your site.
You have a beautiful website. I believe a few adjustments may be required to make it more professional and appealing to customers.
Here are some recommendations:
Header:
1. Social media Icon missing
You can follow this
Homepage: (First Impression is the last impression)
The homepage is the first landing page your customers will see after opening the website. Yours is done beautifully.
1. Add featured products on the home page with add to cart options.
2.Featured Products / all Title should be Optimized and Seo Friendly
3.Add a featured collection on your home page.
4.Add sticky add to cart button on home page collection features.
5. Add a Lead magnet section on Home Page
6.If Possible, add Instagram feed on the home page.
7.Add customer reviews on the home page to gain the trust of the customer.
8.Highlight the USP of your product or service.
9.Footer must be compact and informative and should contain all the important links like - About us, Our Story, Contact, Privacy Policy, Return Policy, Terms of Services, FAQ.
Collection and Product Page:
- Add Sticky add to Cart and Buy now Button for quick checkout
- Add Trust Badges below add to cart or Buy now Button.
- Add Products Bages like New, 10% Off, You Save 20$ or Free Shipping
- Add Mouseover on 2nd image Features
SPEED Optimization:
Your site might be in need of Optimization too. As per Google Insights, your site score is 59 which means that attention is required here. A well-optimised site rates 70+ for mobile version, this affects your SEO ranking and decides how many customers/visitors view or find your website as 80% visitors use mobile to place the order. This is especially important if you don't want to invest in advertisements.
Speed optimization is required to increase sales and traffic. Also, if your speed is not good, your website ranking will definitely fall.
I hope this helped!
