Hi there, I would love some feedback on my store. I launched it a few months ago, Ive had atleast 1000 website visitors but none have converted to sales. Clearly there is something wrong on my site that needs to be changed. I received advice the last time I posted and implemented the advice but it has not made a difference. My store is an apparel brand focused on spreading good karma and kindness. I post to social media regularly, ive been running ads and I had a black friday-cyber monday sales but none of that has made a differnece. Please be honest and let me know what is stopping you from buying when you visit the site. Thank you in advance! https://goodkarmanation.com/

Hi @Nina_GKN

The problem is that you do not get high-quality targeted traffic for your Website. I also advise you to review the products that you are promoting.

One of the best advertising networks that you can deal with and launch your advertising campaigns through is StudAds ( Search in google for StudAds ), and this network has many advantages.

Where what distinguishes it from other networks is that the cost of advertising through it is very low and cheap, and in return, you can get good and targeted traffic.

You can also specify which country you want to target and get traffic through, and you can also exclude any country in return.

Also, if you have any questions about how to create your first advertising campaign, you can contact the support team and it will be ready to help.

Hi Nina,

This is Amee from Gojiberry - Shopify Survey & Feedback App

I like the concept behind your site and your messaging. I took a look at your store and have a few suggestions that will help increase conversion rate:

1. Quality of traffic. As others have mentioned, make sure your advertising is targeting the correct audience. It takes a lot of trial and error to get advertising right, keep at it until it gives you some results.
2. Community outreach. It seems that you are targeting positivity and self-love. Trying to reach out and collaborate with existing communities (online or offline) can get you connected with your target audience better than ads.
3. Audience persona. Create a few personas of the audience you want to target, think about what they like, what kind of social media content they would consume, and what they would find valuable. Based on that, create a social media content strategy based on each persona.
4. Ask your customers! (Most effective for increasing conversion) When you have some converting customers, ask them how they found out about your shop. You can easily do so with a post-purchase survey app, and reward your customers with coupons/points to keep them coming back again. Once you find out your strongest marketing channel, focus more effort and money on that.

Hope this helps!

Thank you for the feedback! Where do you recommend I advertise because so far facebook and instagram ads have not worked for me and I have played around with the audience- targeting only women and certain age groups but it has not converted.

Hey, @Nina_GKN. Congratulations on launching your store!

You've done a great job with the website so far, and I honestly don't think there's anything in particular that would stop someone from making a purchase.

Taking a look at your Instagram and TikTok pages, it might just take more followers and more engagement to start seeing sales. While you're building up an audience, here are a couple things that you can add to the website to help encourage customers to make a purchase:

  • More lifestyle photos: Customers like to see apparel styled so they can imagine how they'd wear it and how it would fit into their life. You've got some great lifestyle photos already, and I think adding these to as many products as possible could really drive sales.
  • Detail photos: Since you're marketing on social media, consider that those channels are likely where your customers will find you. Customers coming from Instagram or TikTok will probably be shopping on their phones rather than transferring to a desktop or tablet, so they're looking at a small screen. If the main image or hover image for each product is a close-up of the details so customers can really see the design, that might increase interest and keep customers browsing longer.
  • Policy pages: Do you have a refund policy, or a shipping policy? You can add policy pages to your menu and/or to the footer menu on your store. Customers who feel informed before making a purchase are more confident in their decision to buy.
  • An FAQ page: An FAQ page is a great way to get information across in a more concise and easy to read way than the policy pages offer. Customers will often look to an FAQ page first to get quick answers to their questions, like how long shipping takes or whether you accept returns.

I've linked some guides within the information above that I hope you'll find helpful. In addition to those, there are a couple guides here on Instagram and TikTok marketing to help you continue to grow on those channels:

Thank you Sophia I appreciate the feedback! I will definetly incoporate these changes.

For some reason when I edit my theme on desktop it does not update with the changes I made when I actually go look at my webiste in a  different browser. I dont have this issue with mobile though which is bizarre. Have you ever heard o this problem

I haven't heard of that before, but hopefully it can be resolved with one of the troubleshooting steps below. First, double check to ensure you're using one of the supported browsers. Then:

  • check for browser updates
  • try an Incognito / private browsing window (this will help rule out whether any browser extensions could be interfering)
  • clear your browser's cache
  • try another one of the supported browsers

Let me know if any of these steps helps you resolve the issue!

Thank you so much for your feedback, I will definetly implement those changes!

In terms of the white space, because I am using a free (dawn) theme, my theme seems to render my homepage- (specifically the best sellers products at the top) depending on the screen size of whoever is browsing my site. Ive tried a few times to fix this and I really dont know how.  In terms of the badges, is this something I can create on canva or illustrator or do I need to download an app
