Hey @Mary42.

Thanks for reaching out.

I appreciate that you have included your online store URL for us to explore!

Looking into your online store, I noticed that you are using the announcement bar to inform your customers of an ongoing discount that is available. That is a great idea to create a buyer incentive and get your visitors browsing. With that being said, I did notice that the font color of the letters on the announcement bar makes it a bit hard to read. I would suggest changing the font color on the announcement bar to make it easier to read.

What do you think about including a slideshow section on the homepage? As this can allow you to showcase your products to your customers. For example, you could include your best seller or favorite product to include in the slides. It can make the homepage more engaging and personalized.

While I was taking a look at your online store, I also noticed that you do not currently have a favicon set for your website. A favicon is a small square image that represents a website in web browser tabs. If you take a look at the top tab bar of your browser right now, I’m sure you’ll see several favicons! Typically, favicons feature a logo, the first letter of the company name or simply an image that reflects the specifics of the website it represents. Adding a favicon to your online store can help strengthen your brand and add a polished look to your website. You can click on this link to read instructions on how to create and add your own favicon your store.

Keep in mind that these images are displayed quite small, so it's good to keep in mind that the image you use should be readable at small sizes.

Let me know what you think and if you have any questions.

Hello @Mary42 I have a couple suggestions I believe you could find helpful as relating to your store.

1) The Twitter, Instagram, and most especially the Tik Tok account of the business should be linked at the bottom of the homepage. This would help customers stay in touch more comfortably with happenings in the store.

2) Informing potential customers of other people’s activities in the store is more likely to spur them on to make orders of their own. Imagine shopping through a store and seeing that two people have already ordered for the product you were contemplating on, it would likely lead you into quicker action. The Show Recent Orders App https://apps.shopify.com/show-recent-orders can help sort this out for you.

Thank you for your suggestions. I will add that app - however, I don't have any sales yet because the store is so new. I also don't have social media yet - it's on my short list of things to do.
