Can I change my product or delete my store before launch?

Hey, I'm new to Shopify and I changed my mind on what I wanted to sell on my one product store, once I did a little more digging on product research I knew this product wouldn't sell as well this time of the year, but I was too late I already bought my domain name and completed all the tasks except for setting up my payments, I haven't lunch my store yet. I'm not entirely sure if I have the option to delete my store and make a new or take the existing one and change it completely?

I’m always in support of just starting things afresh when you can so if it’s not too much stress for you I’d suggest you do that.

I understand that you created a store, purchased a custom domain, and completed the store setup but are in the process of deciding whether you'd like to keep the original store or create a new one. 

This decision would depend on if you still intend on keeping the original store and creating a new store to sell the new product. If you no longer wish to sell the initial product you had in mind, you can explore the option of revamping the original store instead of deleting it and creating a new one. Although this may take some time, it may be more time-consuming to create a new store and transfer your custom domain over to the new store. We have information on the process of transferring Shopify-managed domains to a new Shopify store here.

Could you share a bit more information with us on what product you originally wanted to sell and what new product you're looking into? Secondly, is the domain name you purchased have any relation to the product you initially wanted to sell? Or are you able to use the same domain name for the new store?
