Can't get support on Shopify: How to handle this situation?

I feel like this is a joke at this point. I contacted support last night and the agent kept giving me patronizing responses and literally made my situation worse. They had me delete a 3rd party app and all my settings that I use, which had zero affect on the issue. Now I can't even contact support. "There’s a technical problem with the Shopify Help Center that prevented this page from loading. Please go back to the Help Center homepage or try reloading this page."

AI bot gave me this link for support "
Cards supported for recurring payments in INR"

The phone number for support now just refers me back to the broken AI bot/support link.

$3,500/year for this?!

I can absolutely appreciate your frustration around the Help Center issues you experienced and I'd like to try to guide you as best as I can towards a resolution. For starters, I want to clarify that we no longer offer phone support and any previously used numbers will no longer be accessible.

 

This decision was made in an effort to help more merchants in less time along with the addition of our AI chatbox. It is a newer chatbox powered by a smart learning system, but of course it doesn't always get it right - sometimes, like you described it gets it wrong. 

 

From my understanding, you already were successfully able to connect with a live agent and now you are experiencing errors on the Help Center? It could very likely be a local data caching error, for which you can try to visit this link from an incognito or private window. 

 

There you will still see the AI-powered chatbox in which you can type something along the lines of "contact support" to be connected to a human. 

 

That should do the trick, but if there's any extra advice I can provide here around the original issue please do feel free to share more details here.
