Hi @tomas_marino1 , thank you for posting here!

Once I visited your store, House of Mate looked stunning and I can tell you have put a lot of effort into building it.
I wanted to share some general tips on traffic and conversion with you here that you might find useful:
  1. We would usually advise merchants to work on getting more traffic to their store first, so that you have solid daily visitor numbers.
  2. Once you have done so, you can look into ways to increase your conversion rate optimisation for your store.
  3. One way to do so, mentioned above, is to look at using a call to action to guide your customers through to purchase.
  4. Consider the customer experience in your store and how you might use this to get your visitors to convert into spenders.
  5. Use social proof techniques such as showing the number of visitors, recent purchases, or trending products. I highly recommend that you can use SnapNoti FOMO Vistor Counter - free for all features to build trust in your store to convert visitors into customers easier.

Hi @tomas_marino1,

Welcome to the community.

I'm Kate, a Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO) expert at PageFly, a Shopify Landing Page Builder. I understand your concern about the low conversion rate, and I'm here to help you improve it. There are several strategies we can explore to enhance the user experience on your website and boost conversions.

1. The CTA button text, "NO - I’LL PAY FULL PRICE," can be misleading for users who expect a different action, such as submitting their email for the discount.

The CTA button for submitting the email should be more straightforward and clearly indicate the action it triggers. For example, "Get 10% Off," "Claim Your Discount," or simply "Submit."

The "No, thanks" or "I'll pay full price" message is better suited as a secondary option, perhaps as a smaller link or button, to give users a clear choice without confusing the primary action of submitting the email. This change can help improve clarity and enhance the user experience on the site.

2. The phrase "Buy more and gift someone you love and receive 20% off discount" is a bit unclear. It's important to specify whether the discount is only for the first order or if there are additional benefits for buying more.

A clearer message would be: "Get 20% off your first order with code WELCOME20. Buy more and save even more!" This makes the offer easier to understand.

3. Use Pinterest to drive more traffic to your store.

Pinterest is a discovery platform where users search for ideas and products, making it an ideal place to attract new customers. You can showcase your products with detailed Product Pins, including pricing and availability, and use Catalogs to organize your inventory.

Then, optimize your pins with relevant keywords in descriptions and boards to improve their visibility in search results.

I hope these suggestions help you optimize your store. Best of luck with your store, and keep striving for improvement!

Cheers,

Kate | PageFly team

Hi @tomas_marino1 ,

Thanks for reaching out to the community. I'm Tracy from BON: Loyalty Rewards Referrals.

These are just my personal opinions and experiences, so please take them into consideration:

When I first visited your site, I understood what you were selling. However, if the style isn’t to my taste, I have no reason to buy. Consider showcasing how your mugs can be used in different interior designs to give customers a clearer idea of how they might look in their own homes. Adding a story about the creation and use of the mugs can make them more interesting and relatable. This can help different customer groups understand the value of your mugs and potentially increase conversion rates, rather than just displaying product images.

Adding videos can give customers a better sense of the product in real life. Improving image quality and investing in striking visuals can also leave a strong impression, encouraging customers to make a purchase and increasing conversion rates.

These are my thoughts after reviewing your website, and I hope they help you.

If you find this helpful, please let me know by giving me a 'LIKE.'

Good luck!

Hi @tomas_marino1 ,

Improving your conversion rate from 0.1% involves optimizing various aspects of your Shopify store to enhance the user experience and encourage more visitors to complete purchases. Here are some tips to help you boost your conversion rates:

1. Analyze User Behavior:

  • Use Analytics Tools: Implement tools like Google Analytics or Shopify’s built-in analytics to track user behavior, identify drop-off points, and understand what’s working and what isn’t.
  • Heatmaps and Session Recordings: Use heatmaps (e.g., Hotjar) and session recordings to see where users click, scroll, and spend the most time.

2. Improve Website Design and User Experience:

  • Optimize Site Speed: Ensure your site loads quickly. A slow site can drive potential customers away. Use tools like Google PageSpeed Insights to check and improve your loading times.
  • Mobile Optimization: Make sure your site is fully optimized for mobile devices, as a significant portion of traffic comes from mobile users.
  • Clear Navigation: Simplify your site’s navigation to make it easy for visitors to find products. Use a clean and intuitive menu structure.

3. Enhance Product Pages:

  • High-Quality Images: Use high-resolution images and allow for zooming. Multiple views and videos can also help.
  • Detailed Descriptions: Write clear, compelling product descriptions that highlight benefits and features.
  • Customer Reviews: Display genuine customer reviews and ratings to build trust and credibility.

4. Optimize Checkout Process:

  • Simplify Checkout: Reduce the number of steps in the checkout process. Implement a one-page checkout if possible.
  • Guest Checkout: Allow customers to check out without creating an account.
  • Multiple Payment Options: Offer various payment methods to accommodate different preferences.

5. Use Persuasive CTAs and Offers:

  • Clear Call-to-Actions (CTAs): Use compelling and action-oriented CTAs to guide users towards making a purchase.
  • Limited-Time Offers: Create urgency with limited-time discounts or promotions to encourage immediate purchases.
  • Free Shipping: Offer free shipping or highlight shipping discounts to reduce cart abandonment.

6. Implement Abandoned Cart Strategies:

  • Email Reminders: Send automated abandoned cart emails to remind customers to complete their purchase.
  • Retargeting Ads: Use retargeting ads on social media and search engines to bring back visitors who didn’t complete their purchase.

7. Test and Optimize:

  • A/B Testing: Conduct A/B tests on different elements of your site, such as headlines, images, and CTAs, to see what performs best.
  • Continuous Improvement: Regularly review your analytics and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement.

8. Improve Trust and Credibility:

  • Secure Site: Ensure your site has an SSL certificate and displays security badges to reassure customers.
  • Contact Information: Clearly display contact information and offer customer support through various channels.

9. Personalization and Segmentation:

  • Personalized Recommendations: Use personalization to show relevant products based on browsing history or previous purchases.
  • Segmentation: Target different customer segments with tailored offers and promotions.

10. Optimize for SEO:

  • On-Page SEO: Optimize your product pages for relevant keywords to attract more organic traffic.
  • Content Marketing: Create valuable content that drives traffic and engages potential customers.

Implementing these strategies can help improve your Shopify store’s conversion rate over time. Start with the most impactful changes, track results, and continue refining your approach based on data and feedback.

Hello @tomas_marino1,

Improving your conversion rate can be tough, but a platform like Gameball might be just what you need!

Here's how using Gameball's features could help boost your conversion rate:

  • Gamification: Set up challenges (e.g., "Buy 3 times this month to earn a reward") to encourage repeat purchases.
  • Loyalty Points: Reward points for purchases or actions like signing up for your newsletter. These points can be redeemed for discounts or freebies.
  • Referral Program: Offer discounts to customers who refer friends, and reward both the referrer and the new customer.
  • Personalized Offers: Send tailored discounts based on purchase history, like offering a discount on related products.
  • Tiered Rewards: Create loyalty tiers (bronze, silver, gold) where spending more unlocks better rewards.

Plus, Gameball’s analytics can help you fine-tune your strategies.

These strategies could help keep customers engaged and increase your conversion rate.

Wishing you the best of luck!
