I have recently started a phone case & accessories store.

Could I please ask for some feedback and tips on how I could improve it to gain more sales?

This is my first store, and I am getting a reasonable amount of traffic when I run ads on Facebook and Instagram, but few sales.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have seen your site and I have some suggestions for you:

- At first, I think the homepage layout should be changed. 

The suitable layout is:

+ The banners: what you're doing great. 

+ The collections section.

+ The Featured Products section. Add Quickview or Quickshop buttons for your products.

+ Key benefits when shopping in your store.

+ Maybe the section that shows one featured product like you're doing now. But only one. 

+ Instagram gallery. Have seen your Instagram gallery, and it's great. But you can consider having a shoppable gallery. 

If you want to have one, check this app Shoppable Instagram Gallery


- On your product pages, you should:

+ Add the Sticky Add to Cart bar

+ More Upsell and Cross-sell methods because you're selling many types of products 

+ Add more reviews ASAP


- If you want to provide your customers with PDF invoices, the app Drag and Drop PDF invoice will help you create many unique templates.

The sale you have seems to be a nice deal, however, when you make such a big amount off it might devalue your product. People always need to know why you have made such sales, is it a seasonal sale? or is it because there is no demand for it? Does that mean the product is bad? 

Instead of giving a discount for nothing, give them rewards for completing certain actions on your store ex. for creating accounts, for leaving a review, for sharing your site, for spending money on your site. It is not difficult for a user to do and you will get so many actions on your site, and you are having discounts anyway.

Implement an opportunity to log in and sign up using Social Media account. We all have accounts at least in one social media. And if I have an opportunity to create an account just with one click, I will do it. having an easier way to Sign in will help you gather customer base. The most valuable thing for a company is the customer.

The items in your store are something that every person will need in their lives. Therefore, I recommend using a Referral program by Growave to give your customers an opportunity of sharing your products with friends and getting rewarded for that.

Imagine if you saw something that you quite like in the store, however you want to browse more, get more options, and then choose the best one. That often happens to me, because I am indecisive. That is when Wishlist comes in handy. Since you have a lot of products on your site, I recommend adding that feature to improve the user experience on your site. Besides, if the items on the wishlist have not been purchased, automated emails will be sent out as a reminder.

90% of people read reviews before purchasing an item. I personally do not read the description too much, I go straight on to the reviews section because that is social proof. In my opinion that is essential for every site. I highly recommend (almost insist) and adding that feature on your site. You can use Growave for that, it offers automated emails within the Reviews feature as well.

Homepage designs guides your visitors around your website. To engage visitors you need to work on homepage layout design.  Include trust indicators on the homepage. Homepage content should be strategically decided.

The home Page should flow better. I would recommend setting it out like this. Slideshow Image- Collection List- New arrivals, Bestsellers- Testimonials- Newsletter sign up box- Instagram Feed

- Setup announcement bars or timers to promote your offers on the store. All in one Shopify app AiTrillion has pre-designed templates of announcement bar, timer & sales motivator bars.

Showcase reviews on the home page or create an exclusive page that will build more trust in visitors.

Enable Social media conversion techniques on the store for better conversion.

- Add FAQ (Frequently Asked Questions), this page allows visitors to find answers to all their questions in one place.

- You can add a countdown timer to create urgency for your promotions or offers with the countdown timer bar and motivate your customers to buy more from the store. It helps in increasing sales.

Setup product recommendations on product pages as well as cart pages or you can install AiTrillion and simply enable the product recommendations.

Hopefully, they can be beneficial to you in some ways to gain more sales. But first, don't miss out the latest article on how to amplify your sales in this holiday season.

What I like about your store

1. The site layout is organized and easy to navigate between pages. I did not find any troubles 

2. The images high quality and the display is well thought, there’s a characteristic in the way you arrange you visuals and content.

3. Return and Shipping Policies is clearly located in the Footer as they are essential info for customers when shopping online. 

What can be improved:

I/ Homepage

1. The Header (Main Menu) is taking a lot of space of the Hero banner and you should have the "Free Shipping" bar sticky.



2. You can consider having the variant in a drop down so that it won't take a lot of space in a section. 



II/ Product Page

1. You can remove any repetitive images. This will affect your page speed as well. 



2. You can use color swatches as variant instead of names for better visualization. Customers may have to go through each image to see what the color is and it may take a long time.  


3. The spacing and aligning of the review section can be improved as the review is far to the right of the page and leave a large blank space on the left. 



Overall, this is an excellent work and you must’ve invested a lot of time and effort in making this work. Just a little tweak and it will go a long way.
