Current automatic image optimisation to AVIF is too severe.

Hi, Shopify staff.

At the time of this post, the image optimisation (to AVIF format) that was implemented in August 2022 is too severe. Images looks degraded, terrible and unprofessional. Please tune it.

For example: My 26-kilobyte PNG was (automatically, undesirably and beyond my control) altered and served to website visitors as an 8-kilobyte AVIF, which looks horrendous (furthermore, fine print within the image is now illegible).

Please adjust the settings urgently (and perhaps add the option for us to adjust it or switch it off for particular images).

It's now spreading to images that have been untouched (and looking good) for years! Stop it!

Images being degraded. Site now looking unprofessional.
