custom text in cart and checkout

I need help getting custom text for my cart as well as checkout. I tried editing code and it worked for a bit but when I went back to check it was no longer showing. I'm not sure what I did wrong.

Cart page it can be done. For the checkout page are you using Shopify plus?

I do not have shopify plus. I hope to someday though!
