Decent Traffic but no Sales

Hi everyone, I would like to have some opinions on why my current store is having pretty decent traffic but no sales. All opinions are welcome for me to improve on it!

I just had look into your website, It's looking good. I observed few points on your website.
-> Check below image
-> You can use open new tab on the links on the footer section and items on grid page, then customers are spent more time on your store.
-> You can Add blog page, Blog initially used to provide a unique way for people to share their thoughts, feelings, experiences, and opinions and It is a huge opportunity to increase your company's visibility.
-> I am unable to find social media pages of your website, Have you created? I suggest you can use Facebook Marketing and Instagram marketing.
In Facebook Marketing
-> Optimize Your Profile Picture and Cover Photo of your company logo with high resolution.
-> Fill Out Your Facebook Bio.
-> Set a Consistent Posting Schedule.
-> Schedule Your Posts at the Optimum Time.
-> Use Video To Attract Your Audience and Target The Right Audience Using Facebook's In-App Targeting Features.
Instagram Marketing
-> Instagram business profiles allow your team to optimize your profile, add contact information and your website into the bio section making it much easier for your audience to interact and connect with you.
-> Keep your Instagram profile uniform by keeping your photos within one color scheme. And Use #tags, Hashtags are a big part of Instagram's posts because it allows photos and video content to become searchable on the channel.
-> And I suggest you can use Instagram Stories To Stand Out In The App.

Good day

Thank you for your kind advices. I did create a facebook page already under the name Grace & Co. However, facebook has yet to make the page active, hence i am unable to import my products over. I wonder if you know how long it might take? As on shopify, it does state that it is already active.

If you're seeing a good amount of traffic but it's not translating into sales, it may indicate there's something about your site that's not convincing customers to go through with a purchase. You can try banner ads and popup ads.Yes, banner and pop-up can help you generate extra revenue through your company website.

What audience you are targeting too? Have you added some specific filters like lookalikes or retargeting audiences?If you are generally advertising to any people basis on only on the country, you might be setting up things terribly wrong.

The card abandoned rates for any e-commerce store are generally upto 65% percent. Most of this people could be converted if they are reminded of there carts in advertisements. Try to create re-targeting campaigns to show people ads of products which they have left abandoned in there carts.

If you have enough of purchasers data, create lookalike audience of it to find people which might be interested in purchasing your store. This technique is called prospecting campaigns. Fb AI find very precised audience and promotes to people who will genuinely be interested in purchasing your products.

Try targeting lookalike of your past purchasers, this way you optimize campaign to find people with closest resemblance to people most likely to convert on your store. If you have significant abandoned cart, try retargeting campaigns. Most of sales for our clients comes in with this campaign. Try running prospecting campaigns for initial 30-45 days and once you have enough conversion start retargeting

Use this campaigns, we have seen our clients getting significant part of their sales by following below strategies:

  • Cart abandoned campaigns - Show ads to people who have left cart abandoned on your store
  • Best Seller Campaigns - Show people who visited your store in the last 30 days, a carousel ad of the best seller in your store. The data is refreshed on daily basis.

If you are getting decent traffic but no sales, unfortunately, it is of no use. Every e-commerce website faces the problem of conversion, i.e., high traffic but low or no sale. 

These are some methods that can help you yo solve this problem:

  1. Check Landing page - It is where your lead lands and can be converted into potential customers. It should be according to your marketing campaign.
  2. Website speed- It should not be higher than three seconds, as every customer wants fast service they won’t wait much longer.
  3. Easy to navigate - Ensure that your website is easy to navigate to provide a good customer experience. In e-commerce, trust is everything so, never take your customers to any irrelevant page.
  4. SEO optimization of the site - The optimization of your product page is the most critical task and checks for the image, title, description, and CTA. 
  5. Test and make changes - Once you go and visit your profile from a customer perspective, check for loopholes, and do the correction accordingly.
