Feedback for your online store from the community
Shopify is something very new to me and I have come a long ways but I am now stuck! And, I could really use a helping hand! From what I see, my site looks good. My products and prices seem ok, I've had almost 700 visitors but still no sales. Could someone take a look at my store and see what's right and see what's wrong?? PLEASE!! It's better to run ads for the website and add social media channels to increase exposure of the website's products, so as to boost the browsing rate and click-through rate.
The first thing I notice is that I have to scroll down to the 3rd section of your website to see your products.
The next thing that I noticed is the first thing people see when they go to your site is an image carousel.
You have to design your site for phones. Image carousels are hard to see and interact with on a phone.
The solution for both of these problems is the same. Create an image that contains your most expensive products, replace the carousel with your new image, and use Shoppable Image Hotspots
The app lets you add links to your images, which will pop up when people hover over the products in the images. This will lead to more people seeing your products, clicking on your product pages, and buying something.
Hi @Icandylingerie! It's Tracy from BON Loyalty, the essential loyalty app for Shopify businesses.
I’ve spent some time exploring your website, and honestly, it’s fantastic! It’s clear you’ve put a lot of effort into building it. I do have a few suggestions that might help make it even better and boost your conversion rates from visitors to actual sales:
1. Trim down the text & highlight key info
You’ve included a lot of information, which is great for helping customers, but it can also feel a bit overwhelming. Try highlighting just the most important keywords so people can scan quickly and still get the gist. You might also consider using images or icons to make key points stand out and make it easier for visitors to process information at a glance.
2. Hero banner slides
There’s a lot of helpful info in your hero banner, but it’s a bit easy to miss right now due to the UI. Consider pulling out the most important
details, like “Grand Opening Offers,” so they’re front and center—this should help more people notice them.
3. Collections section isn’t working
When I tried clicking on your collections, they didn’t link to the relevant product pages. It’s probably worth checking those links to make sure everything’s working smoothly.
4. Variant naming
The way variants are currently named (e.g., 10style, 11style) could be confusing—customers might think they’re ordering 10 or 11 items instead of just picking a style. A quick tweak to the naming convention might help avoid any confusion and make the shopping experience smoother.
5. Product images
Your product images and info are great! However, the images are a bit large, which sometimes hides your call-to-action buttons. Adjusting the image sizes and layout could help make the CTAs more visible and likely increase sales.
6. Low contrast on CTAs
Right now, the color of your CTA buttons blends in a little with the background, which makes them less eye-catching. I’d recommend bumping up the contrast so those buttons really stand out—it should help drive more clicks.
Those are just a few of my thoughts—hope you find them helpful! Wishing you the best of luck with your store! 😊

Hi,
You can refer to your competitor's website. Of course, I know that your cost is limited, and you can't make it as exquisite and marketing-focused as this website all at once. But if you browse this excellent competitor's website, you will see a lot of website design strategies that you can learn. I hope this is helpful to you.
We are doing SEO App, so I want to tell you some optimizations from the perspective of SEO, you can refer to it.
1. The notice bar at the top of your website can be set with discount information, which is more conducive to conversion.
2. Your product category is not set on the navigation bar at the top of your website. The golden time for visitors to stay on your website is 1-3 seconds. If you can't attract their attention, they will jump out of your page soon.
3. I think there are some stories on your website, which is very good, but you put the content of the story on a picture. When Google understands this picture, the robot understands this picture based on alt, but your story picture does not set alt content.
4. I searched for the keyword "Sexy Intimates Bra", and your website ranked outside the top 100, so you can also focus on the SEO of the website from now on to improve the ranking of the website. If you are interested in our SEO app, I provide a 2-month 40% off code: “community40%off”, you can use it if you are interested.
5. Another important point is that compared with competitor websites, the style of your product page meta title and meta description focuses on the product fabric, but just like when I buy clothes, I will not pay attention to this, I will only pay attention to whether the clothes are good-looking and whether the price is affordable. And our product can also optimize you set this meta title and meta description.
Finally, in the fiercely competitive market, I wish your website's natural traffic will improve and get more sales.
I think you may need to take some time optimizing your meta descriptions showing in search results when I google your website. A clearer description with keywords and highlights will attract more views from visitors and get more sales. You can further check the result in the screenshot I shared below, thank you.
Hi @Icandylingerie
I had a look, overall it looks good, just a few things you could tweak to make it even better:
I’d add a clear headline and short tagline in the hero section to explain right away what makes iCandy Lingerie special. Right now, it’s not super clear when you land on the page.
Maybe also feature bestsellers or collections right under the main banner. It would help people start browsing faster without needing to scroll too much.
Last thing, adding a few trust badges (like secure checkout, fast shipping, easy returns) could help make new visitors feel more comfortable buying.
Small changes, but they could really help with conversions!
