Displaying Featured Products in a Slider on Homepage

I want to showcase featured products in a slider on my Shopify homepage (More Information). I’m using a Shopify 2.0 theme and would like it to be auto-scrolling. Is there a built-in way to do this, or do I need custom code? Any guidance would be appreciated!

For some theme it is built-in for most of them it is only one mobile. But if your theme does not provide the slider feature you will need to add a slider. 

It is better to use a third party slider library to save you a lot of hassle. I have used swiper.js before, there are more libraries. It's easy to add to your theme and incorporate with your code ofcourse if you have any understanding of code.
