Feedback for your online store from the community
Hello, so I have had my online shopify clothing store (mrsfashion.net) for 2 months now. I have had 0 orders and have a very very low conversion rate of 0.03%. I have had 3.57k sessions but no luck. My store looks good i believe and it loads quickly so I am not sure why my orders are so low. I have spent around 400£ on facebook ads/ instagram/ tiktok ads which are getting clicks as people are visiting my website however not ordering. Would anyone be willing to help me out and give my some advice or feedback as it seems like i am just loosing money. Thank you.
Hi @MrsFashion , thank you for posting here!
Currently, the hero banner lacks appeal. A more effective layout could include a Background Image, Heading, Paragraph, and Button with:
👉 Consider incorporating a call-to-action (CTA) button in this section and centering the block content within the section.
2. Adding customer review section of the homepage
I noticed that you added some review notifications for your store but I highly recommend you add more one section of customer review at the bottom of the homepage to increase trust for your new customers. Adding one could significantly improve the customer experience. It helps to organize content clearly, making the overall page look more structured and professional. This simple addition can enhance usability and make your store more user-friendly, potentially increasing customer satisfaction and engagement with your reviews.
3. Newsletter section
Ensure you offer benefits that create a win-win situation for the customer. Use enticing content like "enjoy a 20% discount" to motivate signing up for the newsletter.
For example:
4. PROMOTION
You can create a promotion strategy to engage customers more to improve the checkout rate of your store:
I trust these recommendations will assist in enhancing your website's conversion rate.

Hi @MrsFashion Thank you for reaching out for assistance with your Shopify store. I understand how challenging it can be to see significant traffic but not convert it into sales. Based on the details you provided, here are some insights and actionable strategies to help improve your conversion rate.
The Coupon Discount on Cart app can significantly boost your conversion rate by encouraging customers to complete their purchases. Display available discounts directly on the cart page, simplifying the shopping experience and reducing cart abandonment. Use countdown timers and limited-time offers to create a sense of urgency, prompting customers to make quicker purchasing decisions. Tailor the discount messages and visuals to match your store’s branding, ensuring a cohesive and professional appearance.
By implementing these strategies and using the Coupon Discount on Cart app, you can create a more compelling shopping experience that drives higher conversions and ultimately boosts your sales.
If you have any further questions or need additional assistance, please feel free to reach out. I’m here to help!

Hi @MrsFashion,
Thanks for reaching out to the community. I'm Lindsey from BON: Loyalty Rewards Referrals.
Your store and products look stunning! However, I believe some design changes can help you attract more customers:
Make the discount bar sticky:
Ensure it is always visible to your customers wherever they are on the website. This constant reminder of attractive discounts can encourage them to make a purchase.
Create a sense of urgency with limited-time offers:
Highlight that your discounts are available for a limited time only. This urgency can motivate customers to buy before the offer expires. For example:
Enhance your discount visuals:
Use brighter, more eye-catching colors and icons for your discounts and sales to make them stand out.
Improve product media:
Since your products are fashion items, add images that show how customers can style your products, especially your bag collections. This can give customers a better idea of how the items look in real-life scenarios.Broaden your product display:
Instead of just showing two CTAs for your best sellers on the homepage, use a "Shop Now" CTA that navigates to your best seller collection. And you can also introduce new products/new collections/ or available discounts here. This encourages customers to explore more products in your store. For example:
Use heatmaps and session recordings:
Tools like Microsoft Clarity (which is free) can help you analyze user experience and understand why customers leave your store. This insight can guide you in making necessary improvements.I hope these suggestions help increase your conversion rate. If you find this helpful, please let me know by giving me a 'LIKE.' 😊
Cheers,
Lindsey

Hi there, I am going to give it to you straight.. the origin story you show on your homepage does not seem genuine/true and is completely disconnected with the information that you have listed on your about page. With the amount of fake websites selling clothing off instagram these days, I find your website completely untrustworthy.
The clothes you are picking to sell are cute but overall I would not trust purchasing from your website. There is not a consistent story or branding on your site, it looks like all the photos are just taken from other websites. I would try to use more consistent styling and images for the products you are selling and maybe try to narrow in on a specific type of product and market.
I hope that helps, just trying to give some genuine feedback.
Hi @MrsFashion,
I am from Mageplaza - Shopify solution expert.
I would be happy to review your website and provide feedback on the performance. Here are some recommendations to improve your conversion rate:
Your website isn’t effectively converting visitors into buyers despite your advertising efforts. Without seeing your ads, I can’t offer detailed recommendations on your landing page. However, here are some suggestions from Databox that you might find useful. You can read more in their article.
“When the click-through rate (CTR) is high but the conversion rate is low, it usually indicates an issue with the landing page. This is often due to a lack of effective calls-to-action (CTAs). To address this, create a clear CTA, such as a "Buy Now" or "Read More" button. This CTA can be a clickable image with a small amount of text or a simple button.”
1. Monitor Your Cart Abandonment Rate
Additionally, a high cart abandonment rate can be particularly frustrating for your business, especially after investing significantly in attracting visitors to your site. This issue indicates that many potential customers are deciding not to complete their purchases, contributing to low conversion rates.
To address this, you can remind customers about the items left in their carts and encourage them to complete their purchases by:
2. Add favicon logo
A favicon is a tiny logo that usually shows up in a browser tab. It is particularly crucial for new websites as it enhances user experience by helping visitors quickly recognize your site when they have several tabs open in their browser.
3. Best seller and you customers also purchase
4. Search bar
I hope some of my suggestions are helpful, feel free to give me any feedback.
Good luck!
