FB Ads sending traffic to store but no conversion or add to cart

Hi,

I am new to Shopify and dropshipping, any feedback  would be really helpful 🙂

So I started running my FB ads, spent around 70$ and got around 30 Clicks, but not a single one is converted, people are not adding the product to cart. I have tried optimizing my store and offered good discounts too.

Can anyone provide suggestions please: https://lifegoodcompany.com/products/skin-therapy-wands

Hi @abhnv89, this is Kate from the PageFly Shopify Builder team.

Starting a business can be hard, but you're on the right track with good customer reviews. However, for your Facebook ads, you need a special landing page, not just a product page. How well your Facebook ads work mostly depends on two things:

  • Your ad's caption (the hook you target)
  • Your landing page

I'll keep my advice short and clear. If these tips help you, please show it by liking this comment or marking it as the solution.

1. Your hook (Facebook caption)

Steps to take:

  • Research and understand the people who would want your product
  • Ask yourself: Who is likely to buy this product? For instance, your product might appeal to those who want to boost hair growth, reduce and heal acne, or improve skin tightness. It's great for people seeking non-chemical, easy skincare options.
  • What is their age range? Look at similar products from your competitors to get an idea. You can often find this information in comments or reviews.
  • Where do most of these people live?
  • What are their main beauty and wellness goals?
    • Consider if they have specific concerns like acne, skin marks, or signs of aging such as wrinkles or loose skin.
    • ...

Put yourself in the customer's shoes: why would you want a Wands Glass Tube? What makes this product trustworthy and worth-buying for you? Then, identify your strongest hook and craft a straightforward, direct Facebook caption that encourages the audience to click on your landing page and purchase your product.

Here's an example I wrote for you: “Ladies, transform your beauty routine now! 🌿

💁‍♀️ Check out our Therapy Wands for stunning skin and hair at [Your Landing Page - shortened version].

Simple, natural, and made just for you.”

Feel free to modify it to suit your style. Remember, it doesn't have to be perfect, it just needs to effectively convert. To optimize it, place your landing page link near the start of the caption.

2. Your landing page

  • Create a hero banner with a clear headline: the headline should immediately convey its unique value proposition. Here’s an example: "Revolutionize Your Beauty Routine with Therapy Wands - The Natural Path to Flawless Skin and Hair!" Visual example:

PageFlyKate_0-1703466842249.png

  • Showcasing your media. Help visitors see them without clicking: To improve your page, add clear, visible images and videos of the Therapy Wands in use. Avoid making visitors click to see more. Use 'before and after' photos and auto-playing video clips for easier viewing. This simplifies the experience and reduces user effort.

PageFlyKate_1-1703466842210.png

  • Benefit-driven content: Center it around the benefits of Therapy Wands, specifically how they address customer needs like enhancing skin and hair health.
  • Use strong call-to-action (CTA): This CTA should motivate visitors to make a purchase and should be used multiple times for greater impact.
  • SEO optimization: Use relevant keywords to improve search engine visibility.
  • FAQ Section: Address common questions to reduce purchase hesitations. Example:

  • Add a HOW-TO-USE section: To make it easier for visitors to picture how they are going to use your product in their daily routine. Example:

PageFlyKate_3-1703466842210.png

  • Create a promotional campaign or section: To encourage visitors to make purchasing decisions. Example:

It's a bit long, but I hope you reach the end. I believe these suggestions will help you improve your Facebook ad traction and sales. If you find them valuable, please let me know by giving a thumbs-up or marking this as a solution.

Wishing you a wonderful and cozy day ahead, and all the best in your business endeavors. Keep up the awesome work!

Cheers,

Kate | PageFly team

Hi there,

Don't worry! You'll likely on some point see thousands of views, a couple hundred clicks and maybe 10 or a little more adds to cart and actually converting. However, you can start by retargeting people who have already visited your website.

Keep in mind, dropshipping and running an ecommerce store is not 'quick money'. It will require time, energy and patience!

Hope this helps.

Best wishes,

Hi @abhnv89,

I'm a new to dropshipping too, and I came across your post after I googled the same problem you had (a lot of clicks but no conversions/purchases).

I'm curious if you were able to get some conversions finally? I'd be happy to hear about your progress.
