Feedback needed on my new store

Hi there, 


I'm new to the world of ecommerce and have only recently got my store up and running through shopify. 

We have had site traffic but the sales are slow and I'm keen to know how much is linked to the user experience. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated

Your site looks really great, and I love what your brand stands for. I recommend adding a slideshow to your homepage; that way, you can showcase all of your amazing products as it will be the first thing your customers will see. I also recommend adding store policies to your site; this will allow you to communicate important information regarding shipping, refunds, privacy, and terms of service to your customers. My last recommendation would be to double-check your product and collection image sizes and quality as you want to make sure the complete image is appearing and image quality is high. 


I would love to learn more about your business plans. Do you currently have a marketing strategy? Increasing traffic to your store is super important, and I would be happy to recommend some marketing initiatives if you would like.

Plus points:

  • Your product images are in high quality
  • Page layout is quite clear and easy to scan

  • Home page:

Make a more attractive CTA button:

CTA button on the first banner always has to stand out. I love that you have a message and the CTA button on the first banner. But I think you can consider change the button style, position or background image to make it looks more attractive


Add testimonial - customer reviews:

Customer reviews are proof of your product quality. This section will help you build customers' trust. You can show rating stars for each product or you can add customer reviews as text and photos.


Have direct links for the Return and Shipping policies

These links are important factor for the buying decision. Customers usually go straight to the footer to check out the Return and Shipping policies so you should consider display them here



  • Product listing page:

Have secondary hover images for the product list

Providing extra visual should help visitors have more understanding about the product and they can make better buying decisions.



Use “Load more” button

If you have more product, you can consider using “Load more” button to maintain a constant buying experience. Customers also can compare between different products.


Add average ratings for each product

​​You should include both the user rating average and number of ratings on the product list items. This is one of the crucial elements for users’ purchasing decisions. They will rely on both to decide whether they should explore further a product.

Hope you are doing good. Your store looks nice and here are few suggestions.

  • Display testimonials/Reviews on the homepage.
  • Include blog page, Blog posting will allow you to show your followers a personal side of your business. In this way you can engage with Existing and New customers.
  • Add Email subscription field on the footer section
  • Make social links open on new tab.
  • There is no terms and conditions checkbox at checkout. I suggest you to install an app from shopify app store which provides 'I agree to the Terms and Conditions' before checkout .As it makes easy for the customer to read your terms and policies.
  • There is no customer review option on the products. Install Product review app from the Shopify app store, so that customer can write a review when they purchase any product from your store.

I have visited your store and here are my suggestions. Hope they are helpful to you! 


1. Homepage 

  • I recommend you to add a sale off price for products displayed on the homepage because it is a good way to stimulate customers to buy. An appealing product with a good quality image and reasonable price wins customers’ hearts. Besides, you can put the Add to cart button below all products on the homepage and activate a Sticky cart on all pages so that customers can easily check out their cart. This tool can also reduce abandonment rate and thereby increase your sales a lot.

Try out the Free app Advanced Sticky Add To Cart to activate the Add to cart button, Sticky cart, Sticky bar in your store.


  • I see that you have a business Instagram account which is great to integrate your Instagram with your store. Turn your Instagram feed into a shoppable gallery and let your followers shop right from the posts.
